7-Epi 10-desacetyl paclitaxel (7-epi-10-deacetyltaxol), a taxol derivative, exhibits cytotoxicity against HeLa cells with an IC50 of 85 μM[1][2].[1]. Fungal 7-epi-10-deacetyltaxol produced by an endophytic Pestalotiopsis microspora induces apoptosis in human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (HepG2).
